Hey! This week I wanted so much clarity on where I want to go and where I can focus my attention. And I want to stay motivated. Is that bad? No, neither, because I did gain insight and I wanted to share that with you in this podcast.
Hopefully, you get a million of inspiration, live your life happily, and feel energetic wherever you are.
How do you stay motivated?
I am often asked the question: how do you stay energetic? How do you stay motivated?
Just listen to yourself and read what gives you energy.
How do you stay motivated?… for example you want to lose weight. I heard a super nice podcast about that last week, that you should make it fun for yourself.
So when you say “I want to lose weight”, you make it a bit positive, or enjoyable. Your goal, or your motivation, or your why should make you happy.
Picture yourself in that amazing dress, or how good you feel and how you glow, the more energetic you feel, how healthier you feel.
Your feelings always tell you whether you are on the right path.
It is your emotional guidance system in life.
And I noticed that for a moment I no longer had the feeling. I have put on so many different things.
In my head, I had assumed that I was going to use August to see what I’m going to focus on. Because I had assumed that I had to focus on one thing. And that peace didn’t quite turn out the way I had in mind.
But on Sunday, while walking, I did get a brainwave. I want so badly in my head, so what I’ve come up with, to be focused on one thing and pay more attention to that, because I think this is good for my business and for myself.
So I went beyond my own concept. By feeling…
- I am not a happy person with one thing.
- I’m not someone who can focus on one thing because then I get bored.
- I am often enthusiastic, I want to do what makes me happy.
If I start to focus only on that, I will not be happy.
My Personal Development Journey
My whole personal development journey started with learning to think positively, learning to love myself, discovering the law of attraction, which has given me so much and still does.
Discovery became highly sensitive “an entrepreneur” because my dream was always to work and live in freedom. And a few years ago, I gave up my job. I made that dream come true. I live and work in freedom.
In everything I do… I ask myself: Is it costing me energy? Or does it give me energy?
Look where you came from
Last night I sat down with my hubby and he did have a good answer for me, He said, “Hey, look back, what you’ve done. Don’t make it so hard on yourself .” And he is absolutely right. I am for the opportunities I’ve caught.

What can you do to regain your motivation?
If you’re not motivated, sit down with your journal, with pen and paper, whatever you want to call it. And ask yourself:
- Why am I not motivated?
- What makes me happy?
- How could it be otherwise?
- How can I make sure I enjoy it?
- How can I follow my own path even more?
- How can I make sure I enjoy the trip?
- How can I enjoy the journey again and again?
A lot of people often comment, also under a post of mine, for example on social media, and that is really quite often, and they say, yes, it’s tough or: “easier said than done. It’s difficult”, etc., you name it.

Then I answer back, when you type, say or write: “it is difficult”, that is the energy which you send out into the world and which you can expect back because that is like a mirror.
It may even be… if you keep repeating it over and over, you really won’t get what you want.
As long as you keep saying, “It’s hard, or easier said than done, it’s tough.” Then you will also feel heavy in your path.
So… change your mindset!!!
When I say to you “don’t think about a pink elephant”. What are you thinking about? That’s what you think about, that’s what you focus on.
That’s why I’m such a proponent of positive affirmations.
And little guts, courage, and perseverance are necessary to live your life, to go for what you want, to make your dreams come true, and to go to sleep every night with a satisfying feeling.
It is not impossible. All you need is a healthy mind of optimism and belief in yourself.
Also, take the time to gain insight into your mind. Give yourself some space, as I did. For example, put a new date in your calendar when you’re going to do something. Then do as I said to get yourself motivated again. So that you can go for what you want, that you go for your dream life. And you can.
I can do it too, so you can too. I am nothing more or less than you. It may sound a little weird, but we’re the same in the end.
Feed yourself with phrases that lift you up. So think about your why, think about what you want to achieve. Make it positive, make it energetic. Believe in yourself. Have faith. Don’t beat yourself up if things aren’t going well. Be thankful for everything there is, even if it’s just one sign-up for online training you’re selling. And have faith that will become more in the future.
Enjoy the journey. Don’t let your energy run down. Work on your mindset. Don’t sit around waiting for you to be motivated again, but examine yourself. Find out what you want, what drives you, and what makes you happy.
There are so many roads to Rome. And you don’t have to do it the way everyone else does. Do it your way, if it makes you happy and makes you feel good.
And you will send out that energy, then you will see that it is like a mirror, when you smile in the mirror, the mirror smiles back at you. So you will see that energy again in your physical reality.
You don’t want to regret on your deathbed, or say, “If only I…”.
Can you see it? Have it clear and feel what you are doing it for. And enjoy it.
